Issue 6 Deleted Scenes

There were a couple of deleted scenes from issue number 6, which I thought I'd share.

The first one is when Phantom wakes up in the park and sees the team fighting in the city.  The panel that made it into the book was him slightly bent at the waist to see what was going on.  The next panel was on that I cut, it showed him standing upright in the same location, still looking at the fighting going on.  I decided to have that scene really added nothing to the story and took it out.
The second scene comes from the battle, after Phantom joins the team.  It actually would have come right after Titan II knocks down the robot menace they were fighting and he says the younger Phantom there for the first time.  In this case I felt it would have detracted from the panels that followed and decided to take it out.

Coming Soon - the conclusion of the Time-Tossed Storyline

For those of you reading alone, you know that that I've been spotlighting a different character in each issue of the Time-Tossed story line. Now there are only 2 issues left to finish this story, the next issue which features Titan (hopefully out at the end of September) and the final issue which features Cat.

All throughout these issues I've been introducing characters and/or concepts that will have an impact on the team in the months and years to come.   For now, without saying much, I'll leave you with a little peek of what's coming ahead.

In issue 7, Titan encounters a group that seems strangely familiar to him, and that's only the first stop on his journey home.

In issue 8, Cat officially meets Vapor, a character that has been in the background of the stories since issue 1.  Here is the pencil sketch for the cover of issue 8.

Issue 5 Deleted Scene

There was only one deleted scene for issue 5.  When I was doing the flashback to Freedom's origin I had the man on the horse chasing them toward the ravine.  In the original draft I had the man jump off the horse and chase them by foot.  However when I was working on the issue I felt that might have taken away from the story as I would think it might be more frightening to be chased by a horse than I older man on foot so I cut the scene entirely.  Below is the original pencil drawing for when the man jumped off the horse.

Cover Redo

Since starting the comic back in 2018 my style has been changing a bit so I thought it would be fun to redo the cover to issue # 1 in the ne...
