My name is Rich Kingsley and I am the creator, writer and artist on the Ultra-Elite Team.
I created the characters back when I was in elementary school and actually continued to write stories about them until about 4 years after I graduated high school when I drew them for the last time on a two-part poster that hung on my wall for years, fading as time went by for over twenty years. In September of 2012 I was out driving when I got the idea that maybe I should do something with the characters.
I was a huge DC Comics fan - I read every Super-Hero book they published from 1961 to 2011 (no I wasn't even born yet in 1961, I just went back that far) and all of their archives (and some Vertigo). I walked away when they did their new 52. While I didn't read Marvel Comics regularly, I did dabble there a little bit - but the last time I read a comic of theirs was in 1990, so I am little outdated on my knowledge of what they have been up to. However I do really enjoy the Marvel movies and have seen almost all of them.
When I was reading comics, from DC the New Teen Titans/Teen Titans were my favorite, especially the Wolfman/Perez era, followed by the Justice Society, All-Star Squadron and the Satellite-era Justice League. For Marvel, I enjoyed John Byrne's run of Alpha Flight, but didn't stick with it long after he left the book.

I am a huge fan of world Mythology, with a focus on the Greek Myths, I also read folk/fairy tales and am big into genealogy - all of these themes will influence future stories of the book.
I am also bit of a movie person and have seen over 1,000 movies (yes, I really have a list). I'm not into TV as much, but I am a huge fan of MTV's Teen Wolf, the Simpson's, Smallville (when it was on), Big Bang Theory, old re-runs of the 60's Batman show and genealogy shows.
